Welcome to the Network Science website. This site is dedicated to the topics of pharmaceutical research and the use of advanced techniques in the discovery of new therapeutic agents. We endeavor to provide a comprehensive look at the industry and the tools that are in use to speed drug discovery and development. If your would like to see a topic added to this collection, or know about companies and products that you feel would be of interest to our readers, please contact us.

Network Science has collected an extensive list of professional societies and associations and companies/organizations that are a part of the world-wide efforts in drug discovery and development. These organizations were selected based upon the fact that they contribute to pharmaceutical research and development and healthcare throughout the world. If you would like to add your organization to the list or correct the listing that is on-line, please contact us or use the registration form that is located in the Yellowpages section of the website.

Manuscripts also can be submitted electronically in native Microsoft Word or HTML format if the are sent to TheEditors@netsci.org as attached documents, BinHex/Stuffit, uuencoded, or ZIPped files. Documents prepared with other word-processing packages will not be accepted unless the file is submitted in "Text Only" (ASCII) mode. Supporting diagrams and chemical structures should be submitted in JPEG, PICT or GIF format. Text and tables for the paper should be contained in one file for each figure, chart, illustration, etc.. Titles for graphics should be descriptive (e.g., Figure1, Figure2, or Scheme1) and should be referenced in the body of the paper. Original artwork can be scanned by the staff at NetSci, however, the quality of the final images cannot be guaranteed. NetSci is designed to be an interactive journal. Thus, coordinate files for any structures and/or models which are part of the paper should be submitted as PDB, MOL or other chemistry MIME formatted files. When preparing a manuscript, do not include any page-layout instructions such as placement information for graphics in the file. The text should be left justified, and automatic end-of-line hyphenation should be turned off. Use carriage returns only to end headings and paragraphs, not to break lines of text. References should conform to generally accepted format. While the editors at NetSci will attempt to proof read your copy, we cannot guarantee that we will find all typographical errors. Please check your final copy for consistent notation, correct spelling and ensure that all characters are correctly represented throughout the manuscript: for example, 1 (one) as opposed to l (ell) and 0 (zero) as opposed to O (oh). If you supply your manuscript on disk, please label the disk with the title of the manuscript, author(s) name and affiliation(s). If you submit your manuscript electronically, please include this information at the top of the manuscript. Chemical Abstracts Services has now begun to selectively cover those NetSci articles that report new chemical information, starting with the July 1995 issue. Because their coverage will be selective based on subject matter, originality, and identity of authorship, articles of a non-chemical nature such as those on repetitive stress injuries (the December, 1995 Issue) will not be covered.
