The process of changing jobs has six steps:

3. On-Site Interview(s)
   
   
4. Post Interview Follow-up
   
   
5. Negotiating and Accepting the Job Offer
   
   
6. Resigning From Your Current Position

While there is no "right" way or "wrong" way to approach these steps, there are a few generally accepted practices which can be followed.
