Electrochemical Simulation Package
ESP
Electrochemical Simulation Package (ESP) is a program to perform general electrochemical simulation of pulse voltammetric techniques, and best fitting of experimental data at solid and DME electrode. Available techniques are:
- Cyclic Voltammetry (CV)
- Square Wave Voltammetry (SWV)
- ChronoAmperometry (CA)
- Sampled DC Polarography
The simulated mechanism can be build as combination of:
- maximum of 20 species
- maximum of 10 chemical reactions
- maximum of 10 redox couples
Routine to evaluate Uncompensated Resistance (RU) and Double Layer capacitance (DL) effects is included.
The best fitting routine allow you to define, formally, inside experimental data points, a maximum of 10 ranges. The best fitting is performed over only such ranges.
ESP has the same look of software Model 270 by EG&G. Most of M270 parameters are commonly employed in ESP with the same meaning. ESP simulate a "digital" potentiostat (like EG&G 273) rather than an "analog" one (i.e. Stair Case Voltammetry intead of CV). ESP can directly read and write both M270 and general input/output ASCII files. ASCII input/output files can be used by non EG&G users.
